Dried whole black pepper fruits, as well as ground ones, are used as a spice, especially in spicy mixtures. Even in the confectionery industry it is included in “dry perfumes”. The spice is also used in the production of curd mass, hard and processed cheeses. In home canning, it is used for salting, soaking, and preparing canned meat.
